MINUTES <br /> <br /> Eugene City Council <br /> McNutt Room--City Hall <br /> <br /> January 10, 2001 <br /> 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Betty Taylor, Nancy Nathanson, Pat Fart, Scott Meisner, David Kelly, Gary Pap~, <br /> Bonny Bettman. <br /> <br />ABSENT: Gary Rayor. <br /> <br />A. EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />The Eugene City Council, acting as the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency, met in Executive <br />Session, in accordance with Oregon Revised Statute 192.660(1)(e). <br /> <br />The January 10, 2001, meeting of the Eugene City Council, acting as the Eugene Urban Renewal <br />Agency, was called to order by Mayor James D. Torrey. <br /> <br /> Councilor Taylor moved, seconded by Councilor Nathanson, to approve <br /> Resolution 1011, a resolution of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of <br /> Eugene, authorizing the purchase of the Chiquita property. The motion passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br /> Councilor Taylor moved, seconded by Councilor Nathanson, to authorize the <br /> director to sell to the General Services Administration (GSA), up to four (4) acres <br /> of the Chiquita site for an amount that he determines is in the public interest.
