Mr. Papd said he was unable to attend a conference of the Institute for Sustainable Ethics and Economics in <br />Eugene May 18-20 and asked if another councilor could attend instead. Ms. Taylor indicated interest. <br /> <br />Also in reference to the Institute for Sustainable Ethics and Economics, Mr. Kelly asked if the council was <br />willing to consider a contingency request from the institute to fund facilitators for a pre-conference gathering <br />called the Future Search on Sustainability. The event was scheduled for May 18-20. Council members <br />indicated willingness to hear the request. <br /> <br />Ms. Taylor mentioned some recent constituent contacts regarding the possible elimination of the bookmobile, <br />possible reductions in neighborhood newsletters, and the proposed relocation of Sacred Heart.
