OR RfJ. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />of the <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> <br />A. Under Section 16 of the Eugene Charter of 1976, the City Manager <br />has the responsibility and authority to appoint and remove all employees <br />(except as limited by Charter); organize, disband, and reorganize city depart- <br />ments; and assign duties to administrative employees. <br /> <br />B. Pursuant to that authority, the Permit and Information Center Super- <br />visor has heretofore been designated by the City Manager as the person as the <br />person authorized to execute on behalf of the City the certificates required <br />required by Subsection (7) of Section 793, Chapter 338, Oregon Laws, 1983, as <br />amended by Section 3, Chapter 598, Oregon Laws, 1985, that the location of the <br />vehicle dealer business or proposed vehicle dealer business complies with land <br />use of business regulatory ordinances, Chapters 3 and 9 of the City of Eugene <br />Code. <br /> <br />Now, therefore, based upon the above findings, the City Manager of the <br />City of Eugene hereby orders that: <br /> <br />1. PERMIT SERVICES DIVISION MANAGER, Eugene Development Department, is <br />designated as the person charged with the responsibility and authority to ap- <br />prove compliance of vehicle dealer location with land use or business regula- <br />tory ordinances in Chapters 3 and 9 of the Eugene Code. <br /> <br />2. The delegation of authority provided for herein is limited only to <br />the extent that under Section 16 of the Eugene Charter of 1976 the City Man- <br />ager remains vested with the ultimate authority and responsibility for the <br />department and its employees. <br /> <br />Issued and dated this ;L1~ day of May, 1986. <br /> <br /> <br />( <br />
