<br />~ltX FILE NO. .:)~- q \ - 30:.- <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />of the <br />City Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> <br />CONCERNING FEES FOR APPEALS TO THE HEARINGS OFFICIAL <br />FROM DECISIONS SUBJECf TO REVIEW <br />UNDER SECTION 3.060 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971 <br /> <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 2.020 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorizes the City Manager to <br /> <br />determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of <br /> <br />municipal property, and licenses and permits. <br /> <br />2. In accordance with the procedures set forth therein, on April 4, 1991 I <br /> <br />notified the Mayor and City Council that I intended to establish fees for appeals to the <br /> <br />Hearings Official from decisions subject to review under the provisions of Section 3.060 of <br /> <br />the Eugene Code, 1971, which include business license appeals (including hazardous <br /> <br />materials licenses/permits, and fire safety permits), public passenger vehicle permits, and <br /> <br />individual certification denials, revocations, and suspensions. The notice was also posted <br /> <br />at two locations at City Hall on April 5, 1991, and made available for inspection by <br /> <br />interested persons at the offices of the City's Planning & Development Department, <br /> <br />Building & Permit Services Division, 244 East Broadway, Eugene, Oregon 97401, and <br /> <br />provided that written comments would be received thereon for a period of 15 days from <br /> <br />the date the notice was posted. No written comments were received within the time or <br /> <br />in the manner required by the notice. <br /> <br />3. I find that the proposed fees as set forth in the Notice are consistent with <br /> <br />applicable policies and directives of the City Council, the amount charged for comparable <br /> <br />Administrative Order - 1 <br />
