ORDINANCE NO. ~ S~17 An Ordinance initiating the vacation of the following described Public Utility Easement, to-wit: Beginning at a point being South 89°15' East 7.00 feet Pram the Northwest corner of Lot 3, BLACKSTONE, as platted and recorded in File 73, Slide 185, Lane County Oregon Plat Records; thence South 89°15' East 79.51 feet; thence South 0°28'10" West 7.00 feet; thence North 89°15' West 79.79 feet; thence North 0°18'40" East 7.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, in Lane County, Oregon. Hughes Ev 79-4} THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene herein initiates the vacation proceedings on its own authority without petition ar consent of the property owners, except as provided by statute, of the above described Public Utility Easement. Section 2. A hearing shall be held upon the proposal to vacate the Public Utility Easement as herein provided, and the hearing shall be held on the 25th day of July, 1979, at noon, Pacific Daylight Savings Time of said date, at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, at which time all persons will be heard upon objections or suggestions with regard to the vacation, and at said time the Council will provide for the vacation of the Public Utility Easement or deny such vacation, and in case the vacation is made, will provide and make provision for any damages sustained by local assessment. Section 3. The City Recorder is hereby directed to immedi- ately publish once each week for four consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, notice of the
