SDBC 79~-$ ORDINANCE N0. ~ 8y bQ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE SIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, QREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY DF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of CRS 227.215 and Section $.813 through S.S45 of the Eugene Code, l9ll, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the sign district classifications of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Pl anni ng Commi ssi an, the materials .trans, mi tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Car~mi ssi on and this Council , the request for sign district change of classification is i n conformance with the intent and purpose of the Sign Code as required by Section 5.83 of the Eugene Code, 1911. NCW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adapts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department Staff Notes of June 5, 2979, and the Planning Commission minutes of June 5, 1979, for the reasons set forth herein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
