AN ORDINANCE CONCEP~'~zNG LAND ~JSE CLASS~F~k1ATI[~N AND <br />- A~ENDI NG TBE 7ONI ~G ~~AP OF THE CITY QF E'~~~E t~E, OREGON <br />TAE Cw T Y COUNCIL aF T UE CITY QF EUGENE FI ~~DS T HST; <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227, 215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.n~B <br />through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Counci ~ has the. authority <br />and respans ib ;1 ity, subject to the ~ imitat ions contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property ,within the City of Eugene; <br />. ~ Based upon the report of the pl anninq Commission, the materi a1 s ~trans~ <br />m i tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Pl anni nq Cammi ss ion <br />and this City Council , the request for zone change classif icatian i s in con- <br />. ~ farmance with the General Plan; there is a publ i c need for the ch ange i n zone; <br />and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the <br />property; ~ ~ ~ . <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereb,~ adopts ~as its own the . <br />specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Commission findings of <br />Apr i 1 1, 1980, and the Planning Commission minutes of March 4, March 24, and April l , <br />1980, far the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY DF EUGENE DUES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; <br />Section 1. ~ As provided by Sect ion 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the <br />zoning map and t-he zoning ordinance schedule of district ch anges are hereby -~~ <br />. amended to reflect the following change of zone <br />Tax Lot 3300--Assessor's N1ap 17-03~20~4 1, as more particularly described <br />on the attached exhibit A, lpcated on the east side of Coburg Road between <br />Bailey Lane and Tandy Turn. . <br />Change of zone from R-2/1OIPD Limited Multiple-Family Residential District <br />with a maximum density of 14 units per acre and Planned Unit Develaprnent <br />- procedures to R~21201SR Limited Multiple-Family Residential District with <br />a maximum density of 2Q units per acre and Site Review procedures. Said <br />Site Review procedures addressing concerns as set forth i n exhibit R, <br />attached. <br />Sect ion 2.
