ORDINANCE NO. ~~ 6 <br />An Ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 18669 and initiating the <br />vacation of the following described pedestrian right-of-way, to-wit: <br />Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 7, dock 2, <br />of Bardell Estates as .platted and recorded in Book 35, <br />Page 28, Lane County Plat Records, Lane County, Oregon, <br />and running South 192.80 feet, thence north 82°40' <br />west 15.12 feet; thence North 190.87 feet; thence east <br />15.00 feet to the paint of beginning. Lindley Pv 80-1} <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. In order to insure an adequate publication time, <br />Ordinance No. 18669 adopted by the Council and approved by the Mayor <br />on June 25, 1980 is hereby repealed. <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of Eugene herein ini- <br />tiates the vacation proceedings on its own authority without peti- <br />tion or consent of the property owners, except as provided by statute, <br />of the above described pedestrian right-of-way. <br />Section 3. A hearing shall be held upon the proposal to vacate <br />the pedestrian right-of-way as herein provided, and the hearing shall <br />be held on the 13th. day of August, 1980, at noon, Pacific Daylight <br />Time of said date, at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, <br />Oregon, at which. time all persons will be heard upon objections or <br />suggestions with regard to the vacation, and at said time the Council <br />will provide for the vacation of the pedestrian right-of-way or deny <br />such vacation, and in case the vacation is made, will provide and <br />make provision for any damages sustained by local assessment. <br />Section ~. The~City Recorder is hereby directed to immediately <br />publish once each week for four consecutive weeks in.a newspaper pub- <br />lisped in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, notice of the proposed vaca- <br />Ordinance ~- 1 <br />
