~ ~n_~n <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~o ? g <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE AND SIGN DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND SIGN <br />DISTRLCT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.$13., 9,278, and <br />9.fifi5 through.9:fi84 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the <br />zoning and sign district classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />. Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, <br />mTtted therewith, and the evidence presented before the <br />this City Councii, the request for zone change and sign <br />classification is in conformance with the General Plan; <br />for the change ~n zone; and the public need can best be <br />c 1 as s i f i c at i on of the property; <br />the materials trans- <br />P1 anning Commission and <br />district change of <br />there is a public need <br />served by changing the <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adapts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff <br />notes of June 3,1980, and the Planning Commission minutes of June 3, 1950, for <br />the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1, As provided by Sections 9.218 and 8.fi Z5 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of d ~ str~ ct changes and the s ~ gn code schedu 1 e of district changes are hereby <br />amended to ref 1 ect the fo 11 owi ng change of zone and sign district : <br />Tax Lots 14100, 14200--Assessor's Map 17-03-30-3 Z <br />As more particularly described on the attached Exhibit A located east on <br />Monroe and north of First Avenue . <br />Change of zone from M~2 Light-Industrial District tv R-~2/l0A Limited <br />Multiple Family-Residential District with a maximum density of 10 acres <br />of 10 units per acre including the Sign District change from Industrial <br />District to Residential District . <br />ORDINANCE--Page l of Z <br />
