Z SC-~ <br />Sector A <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~ 87ot7 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COU~ICIL OF THE CITY CF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant~to the provisions of CRS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668 <br />through 9.68 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />. ~ the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Pi ann i ng Commission, the materials trans <br />emitted therewith, and.the evidence presented before the Panning Commission <br />and this City Courici l , the request for zone change classification is in con- <br />formance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; <br />and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the <br />property; <br />NCI, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its awn .the <br />specific affirr~ative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes <br />of May 6, May 19, June 9, June 23, and September 22, 1980, and the Planning <br />Commission minutes of May 6, May 19, June 9, June 23, and September 22, 1980, <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO~15 : . <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9..275 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the <br />zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are. hereby <br />amended. ~ to reflect the following change of zone: <br />Tax Lots 1o02--Assessor's Map 17-04-33 as more particularly described on <br />the attached Exhibit A. Located between Terry Street and Danebo Avenue <br />north of the Amazon Creek. <br />Change of zone from M-3 Heavy Industri al ~ Di strict to Mwl Light Industrial <br />District. <br />Section 2. The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes <br />attached to .Chapter 9 of .the Eugene Code, 1911, to show the~foregping <br />.~ <br />ORDINANCE-Page 1 of 1 <br />
