F LL E-D <br />IN THE OFFICE Of THE SECRETARY <br />OF STATE OF THE STATE OF OREGON. <br />v 3 <br />;gyp /j 1988 <br />ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION AND CHARTE <br />CORPORATION )[VISION <br />OF <br />INDUSTRIAL CORRIDOR COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION <br />The undersigned individual of the age of 18 years or more, acting as incorporator <br />under the Oregon Nonprofit Corporation Law, hereby adopts the following Articles of <br />Incorporation and Charter. <br />ARTICLE I <br />The name of this corporation is Industrial corridor Community organization <br />thereinafter referred to as "Community - Organization"), and its duration shall be per- <br />petual. <br />ARTICLE 11 <br />The Community Organization does not contemplate pecuniary gain or profit direct or <br />indirect to its members. The purposes for which the Community Organization is or a- <br />nized are: <br />Y g g <br />(1 To promote, preserve, and maintain the health, safety, welfare, and prop- <br />erty of the property owners, lessees, and residents of that certain area generally <br />known as the Industrial corridor more specifically described on Exhibit 1, <br />attached hereto, in the county of Lane, State of Oregon. <br />(2) Consistent with Section 1, the specific purposes for which this corpora- <br />tion. is organized are to promote the virtues of the Industrial Corridor, to promote <br />a clean, safe, and scenic environment in the Industrial corridor, to promote <br />healthy economic growth and development of the Industrial Corridor, to work for <br />the establishment of new, and mai ntenance , of existing, local services, pro- <br />grams, and community facilities which enhance the welfare of the Industrial <br />Corridor, to communicate, advise, and consult with county and city governments <br />on all matters affecting the Industrial Corridor community, including zoning, <br />metro area planning, development, housing, traffic and transportation systems, <br />utility delivery systems, water and sewer systems, and any other matters affect- <br />ing the economic vitality and livability of the Industrial corridor community, to <br />encourage neighborhood involvement in local governmental functions and <br />decision - making, and to engage in any lawful activity for which the community <br />Organization may be organized under Oregon law consistent with the . fore- <br />going. <br />}�i : r�...�r e! e� r F i � •� r �' i a r <br />ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION AND CHARTER - 1 <br />� / <br />
