xESOL ON NO. qjct� <br />f <br />A RESOLUTION CONCERNPiG WARD BOUNDARIES AND <br />AhIEND MAP ATTACEOED AS EXHIBIT ATO <br />RESOLUTION NO, 4293, <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that* <br />A. on December 2, 1991 the Council adopted Resolution No. 4293 establishing <br />eig wards within the City for p ur po ses of City elections as reflected on the ma <br />� � p � ty P attached <br />t as Exhibit A thereto. <br />B. Since adoption of Resolution No. 4293 it has been discovered that there was <br />an error in the population figures for Wards 3 and 7 necessitating a realignment of those <br />ward boundaries. <br />C. It is necessary to promptly correct the boundaries for Wards 3 and 7 as set <br />forth in the map attached as Exhibit A hereto in order to ensure that precincts are <br />properly identified and candidates for Council and EWEB offices are aware of the correct <br />boundaries. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' 'THE CI'T'Y OF EUGENE, a <br />Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: <br />Section 1. Based on the above findings, which are hereby adopted, the map <br />attached as Exhibit A to Resolution No. 4293 is hereby amended, and the City of Eugene <br />is divided into eight wards as shown on the map attached as Exhibit A hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference. <br />Section 2. The City Recorder is requested to replace the map attached as Exhibit <br />A to Resolution No. 4293 with a copy of the Exhibit A attached hereto. <br />Section 3. Except as herein amended, all other provisions of Resolution No. 4293 <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />Section 4. The City Recorder is requested to forward a certified copy of this <br />Resolution to the Chief Elections Officer of the Lane County Records &Election <br />Department. <br />The foregoing Resolution adopted the 27th y of January, 1992. <br />City Record <br />Resolution <br />
