Present Cmmeilmen Johnson, Parks, <br /> <br />Bo~e, Bell, Deveremtx, Beytien and Goodpast~u'e. <br /> <br /> A Resolution providing that the City Engineer be appointed inspector <br />of all sidewa]J<s v~lth power to appoint as his deputies his assistant engineer, <br />the Building Inspector and the Street Cmm~issioner, and to see that all <br />sidewa]J<s are built in compliance with the City Ordinances was re~d, and a <br />motion was made, seconded and carried to ~dopt the same. <br /> <br /> Assessments against Rock~vell Abbey on acemmt of sewer at Seventh <br /> <br />and Hi~ Streets and against G. H. Courtwright on aceount of sewer between <br />Was!~ington and Jefferson Streets and First and Second AvenUes, and assessment <br />against },~. Hedge and ~'s. Crosby on account of street assessment on Gagden <br />and Walnut Streets claimed to be irregularly levied were ~eferred to the <br />Street Cm~],~ittee and City Attorney. <br /> <br /> Co~.~unieation of H. R. Kincaid relating to sidewalk construction on <br />Charnelton Street, claiming exemption therefrom, was read and filed. <br /> <br /> An ar~3ment favori~ the ~0assage of a proposed ~nen~ent to the City <br />~i~arter relating to the matter of street openings was read, and a motion was <br />made, seconded and carried that the Council adopt the arg~.~ent and tt~at the <br />same be filed and incorporated in tt~e published p~.~phlet fo~ distribution. <br /> <br /> The following bills were presented for payment: <br /> <br />Jay Lewis <br /> <br />~4rs.
