Engineering News Record. <br /> <br />R-7.407-B Equivalent Assessment Rates. <br /> <br /> An equivalent assessment imposed under Section 6.476 or 7.407 of the Eugene Code, 1971, <br />shall be based on the following methodology and formula: <br /> <br /> 1. Methodology. Index the original construction cost by the 20-city <br /> construction cost index (CCI) as published in the Engineering News Record (ENR). <br /> <br /> 2. Formula. CC][ from December of previous year x original construction cost <br /> CC][ from December of base year. <br /> <br /> The rates established pursuant to the above Methodology and Formula shall be updated <br />annually, on or about April 1, based on the ENR CC][ rates from December of the previous calendar <br />year. <br /> <br />R-7.407-C Implementation. <br /> <br /> The equivalent assessment to be charged for land divisions shall be calculated using the rates <br />in effect at the time of final plat approval. For building permit applications, the equivalent <br />assessment to be charged will be calculated using the rates in effect on the date a permit application <br />is accepted as complete at the Permit Center. <br /> <br />R-7.407-D Review of City Engineer's Determination. <br /> <br /> Amy person ag~ieved by the City Engineer's determination of an equivalent assessment <br />under Sections 6.476 or 7.407 of the Eugene Code, 1971, may seek a review of the determination <br />before a hearings officer within the time and in the manner provided in Section 2.021 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971. <br /> <br /> This Rule shall become effective as of 12:01 a.m. on April 19, 2004. <br /> <br /> Dated this ~d'l~ay of April, 2004. <br /> <br /> Dennis M.
