7:30 p.m. CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> Council Chamber, City Hall <br /> <br /> <br />1.PUBLIC FORUM <br /> <br /> <br /> Mayor: <br />The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the City <br />Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have already <br />been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Each person will have three minutes to speak. When you come to the podium, <br />please give your name, city of residence, and, for Eugene residents, your ward <br />if known. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow <br />light will come on when you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. ACTION: <br />An Ordinance Extending the Sunset Date for the Rental Housing Code <br /> <br />City Council President: <br />I move to adopt Council Bill 5056 extending the sunset <br />date nine months to September 30, 2012. <br /> <br /> Roll Call Vote <br /> <br /> <br />4.ACTION: <br />Approval of Funding for Housing Affordable to Low-Income Persons <br /> <br />City Council President: <br />I move to approve, for Phase 1 development of Bascom <br />Village: 1) transfer of the western portion of the County Farm landbank site to <br />SVDP; 2) commitment of $351,603 in HOME funds; and 3) provide for <br />$249,593 in Eugene SDC waivers and to also approve for Phase 2 development <br />of Bascom Village: 1) transfer of the eastern portion of County Farm landbank <br />site to HACSA; 2) commitment of $249,603 in HOME funds; and 3) provide for <br />$224,346 in Eugene SDC waivers.
