7:30 p.m. CITY COUNCIL MEETING Council Chamber, City Hall 1.PUBLIC FORUM Mayor: The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the City Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have already been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a public hearing. Each person will have three minutes to speak. When you come to the podium, please give your name, city of residence, and, for Eugene residents, your ward if known. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes. Mayor closes Public Forum and asks for comments from the City Council. 2.CONSENT CALENDAR (Note: Time permitting, action on the Consent Calendar may be taken at the 5:30 p.m. work session.) A.Approval of City Council Minutes B.Approval of Tentative Working Agenda City Council President: I move to approve the items on the Consent Calendar. Roll Call Vote 3. ACTION: An Ordinance Extending the Sunset Date for the Rental Housing Code City Council President: I move to adopt Council Bill 5056 extending the sunset date nine months to September 30, 2012. Roll Call Vote 4.ACTION: Approval of Funding for Housing Affordable to Low-Income Persons City Council President: I move to approve, for Phase 1 development of Bascom Village: 1) transfer of the western portion of the County Farm landbank site to SVDP; 2) commitment of $351,603 in HOME funds; and 3) provide for $249,593 in Eugene SDC waivers and to also approve for Phase 2 development of Bascom Village: 1) transfer of the eastern portion of County Farm landbank site to HACSA; 2) commitment of $249,603 in HOME funds; and 3) provide for $224,346 in Eugene SDC waivers.
