<br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 57-08-02 <br />of the <br />City Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> <br />TERMINATING WILLAMETTE REPERTORY THEATRE'S <br />RESIDENCY STATUS AT THE HULT CENTER FOR THE <br />PERFORMING ARTS. <br /> <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene f"mds that: <br /> <br />A. The Residency Requirements for Arts Organizations were approved and adopted <br />by Resolution No. 4017 of the City Council on January 12, 1987. The Residency Requirements <br />have been subsequently amended, with the most recent amendment by Resolution No. 4669 on <br />April 23, 2001, and are currently entitled Residency Criteria, Benefits, and Scheduling Practices <br />for Arts Organizations (the Residency Criteria). The Residency Criteria establish the criteria and <br />procedure by which local performing organizations may be designated Resident Companies of <br />the Hult Center. <br /> <br />B. Based on the recommendation of the City's Cultural Services Division, on June 5 <br />2002, the City Manager Pro Tern issued Administrative Order No. ~-02-06 declaring the VV~ <br />Willamette Repertory Company a Resident Company of the Hult Center. <br /> <br />C. The Willamette Repertory Company will be ceasing operations and, therefore, its <br />residency status should be terminated. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />It is hereby ordered that: <br /> <br />1. Based upon the above findings, which are adopted, the Willamette Repertory <br />Theatre is terminated as a Resident Company of the Hult Center for the Performing Arts effective <br />June 30, 2008. <br /> <br />2.
