Cone and Council President Lester E. Anderson. Other councilmen present when called <br />to order at 7:30 p.m. on February 5, 1968 in the Council Chamber were:'Mrs. Lauri.s, Mrs. Hayward, <br />Mr. McDonald, and Mr. Wingard. Counci.1men absent in addition to Mr.Anderson were Dr. Purdy and <br />Mr. McNutt. <br /> <br />Minutes of the Council meeting held January 8, 1968, as nlai1ed to Council members, were approved. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Rezoning 1330 Coburg Road - The City Manager asked that this hearing be. continued to <br />the February 26, 1968 meeting since the City Attorney was not able to be present at <br />this meeting. Mr. Camarot had no objection, but did request that he receive copies of <br />the City Attorney's affidavits or other material a few days before the February 26 meet- <br />ing to give him an opportunity to review it. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mrs. Hayward to continue the hearing to February 26, 1968. The Public Works Director said he received a letter of protest from one owner <br />of abutting property objecting to installation of the sewer. He said there is a planning problem <br />involved, but the Department does not want to wait until the February 26 meeting for award of the <br />contract. The Public Works Department also recommended award of the contract for sewer reconstruction <br />in the alley between Columbia and Moss, 19th and Fairmount, to the low bidder. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mrs. Hayward to award contracts to the low bidders on each project, with <br />the award on the 20th Avenue sewer subject to Council approval at the February 8 comm~ttee meeting. <br />Rollcall vote.
