ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO, 58.05-01-F <br /> of the <br /> City Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> <br /> AMENDMENT OF PLAT CHECKING FEES; RATIFICATION OF <br /> UNAMENDED FEES; AND REPEAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO, <br /> 58-01-16.E <br /> <br /> The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> <br /> A. Section 2.020 and provisions of Chapter 9 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 <br />authorize the City Manager to determine and set fees and charges to be imposed bythe City <br />for services, goods, use of municipal property, and licenses and permits. <br /> <br /> B, Following the procedures set forth therein, on February 3, 2005 <br />Administrative Order No. 58-05-01 was issued notifying the Mayor and City Councilors that <br />I intended to amend the plat checking fees previously established by Administrative Order <br />No. 58-01-16-F to increase fees and to establish the fees on an escalated basis through fiscal <br />year 2008, as set forth in Exhibit A thereto, to become effective March 1, 2005. <br /> <br /> C, Notice was also posted at two locations at City Hall on February 8, 2005, <br />published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City on <br />February 8, 2005, and was available for inspection by interested persons at the offices of the <br />Planning & Development Department, Planning Division, 99 West l0th Avenue, Eugene, <br />Oregon, during normal business hours (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, <br />exclusive of holidays), and at the City Manager's Office, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon, <br />97401, during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m,, Monday through Friday, <br />exclusive of holidays). The Notice provided that written comments would be received <br />thereon for a period of15 days from the date of posting and publication. No comments were <br />received within the time and manner required by the Notice. During the comment period <br />staff noted an error in the final partition fee proposed for 11/06 which read $2,316.00 and <br />should have been $1,316.00. That has been corrected in the attached Exhibit A. <br /> <br /> D. Based on the abo.ve findings, andthe findingsinAdministrative OrderNo. 58- <br />05-01, I find that the plat checking fees should be amended as proposed.
