Hamel, Gretchen Miller, Brian Obie, <br /> Emily Schue, Betty Smith, Cynthia Wooten. <br /> COUNCILOR ABSENT: Mark Lindberg. <br /> Adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, was called <br /> to order by His Honor Mayor Gus Keller. <br /> I. ITEMS FROM MAYOR & COUNCIL, APPOINTMENTS, ANNOUNCEMENTS, AGENDA ADJUSTMENTS <br /> A. Public Information Regarding Ballot Measure 3 <br /> Councilor Wooten suggested that councilors make use of neighborhood newsletters <br /> to get information to the public regarding Ballot Measure 3. City Manager <br /> Micheal Gleason said that staff would help orchestrate this information effort. <br /> He noted that staff would be making a presentation to the council on September 29 <br /> on the effects of several ballot measures that would appear on the November 2 <br /> e ballot. Councilor Schue added that an information meeting on the implications <br /> of Ballot Measure 3 would be held at Springfield City Hall at 7:30 p.m. on <br /> September 22, 1982. Councilor Hamel said he hoped the media would help in <br /> explaining to citizens the possible effects of passage of Ballot Measure 3. <br /> B. Outstanding Elected Official Award to Councilor Schue <br /> Councilor Smith congratulated Councilor Schue on her recent receipt of Lane <br /> Council of Government's Outstanding Elected Official award. <br /> C. Special Council Meeting of September 23, 1982 <br /> Mayor Keller announced that a speCial City Council meeting would be <br /> held at the Eugene Conference Center at 7:30 p.m. on September 23, 1982. <br /> D.
