<br /> M I NUT E S <br />e Eugene City Council <br /> McNutt Room--City Hall <br /> September 9,1992 <br /> 11:30 a.m. <br /> COUNCILORS PRESENT: Shawn Boles, Ruth Bascom, Bobby Green, Randy MacDonald, <br /> Paul Nicholson, Kaye Robinette, Roger Rutan. <br /> COUNCILORS ABSENT: Debra Ehrman. <br /> The meeting of September 9, 1992, of the Eugene City Council was called to <br /> order by His Honor Mayor Jeff Miller. <br /> I. ITEMS FROM THE MAYOR. CITY COUNCIL. AND CITY MANAGER <br /> A. TemDOrary Land Use Permit <br /> Mr. Green reported that a constituent has been victimized by fire and has <br /> requested a six-month temporary permit to locate a mobile home on his property <br />e while the home is rebuilt. <br /> There was consensus to request City Manager Mike Gleason to investigate this <br /> situation. Mr. Gleason said he would report back as soon as possible. <br /> B. Call to Action Youth Summit <br /> Mr. Boles announced the Call to Action Youth Summit on September 11 at the <br /> Hilton Hotel. He said people interested in youth, kids at risk, and recre- <br /> ational opportunities will meet to craft a strategy for the community. <br /> C. Eauity Committee Luncheon <br /> Mr. Boles announced the Environmental Quality Commission Luncheon on September <br /> 11 at the Hilton Hotel. Mr. Green added that one of the presenters, Charles <br /> Jordan, City of Portland Director of Parks, is speaking at the School District <br /> 4J's Equity Committee meeting this evening. <br /> D. City Council Officers <br /> Mr. Boles said the council may avoid a work session on September 14 as there <br /> are no agenda items.
