PLANNER RESIGNATION--Manager announced that Planner Jim Saul will be leaving the City December 31, 1979 to become a partner with Moreland/ Unruh/Smith. Vote 5:0 Manager introduced the topics. Mr. Saul, Planner, said this particular area has been of concern for the last 10 years, due mainly to residen- tial zoning along the north side of Stewart and Bailey Hill Road. There is a mix of light industrial and heavy industrial as well. Over the last several years a number of zone change requests have come before the City. The City was consistent, denying all of them and directed further study to determine the appropriate type of development. - 9/24/79--1 522.
