In a council work session on August <br />11, 2008, the council passed a motion to hire a recruiter to assist with the recruitment and selection of a <br />Police Auditor and create a timeline. On September 10, 2008, the council recommended three firms to <br />be forwarded for further consideration in this process. The recommended firms were interviewed by <br />telephone on September 17. <br /> <br /> <br />RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />This work item relates to the council values of a “Safe Community” and “Effective, Accountable <br />Municipal Government.” <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br />1. Select a firm to contract with for the Police Auditor recruitment process. <br />2.
