In a council work session on <br />October 13, 2008, the council approved revisions to the Police Auditor recruitment brochure, subject to <br />the addition of the Police Auditor Position Description under review on October 20. Once the position <br />description is approved, it will be included in the recruitment brochure and provided to the council for <br />final review. <br /> <br />The current Police Auditor position description is attached. Please note that since this is the current <br />description, the change to the minimum qualifications to include a Juris Doctorate has not yet been <br />made. Once the council provides direction on any other edits to the job description all of the revisions <br />will be made. <br /> <br /> <br />RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />This item is not directly related to a City policy. However, the hiring of a Police Auditor relates to the <br />council values of a “Safe Community” and “Effective, Accountable Municipal Government.” <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br />The council may approve a motion to revise the position description, modify or reject the motion. <br /> <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION <br /> <br />Move to approve the revisions to the Police Auditor position description. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />A.
