Eric <br />Middleton, executive recruiter with Alliance Resource Consulting, will provide an update to the council <br />on the candidate pool, since this recruitment closed on December 8. Mr. Middleton may be seeking <br />further guidance from the council, depending on the final results of this recruitment. There may be a <br />need to go into Executive Session to discuss some of this information, especially if it pertains to specific <br />candidates. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />The position of Police Auditor has been vacant since August 22, 2008. The recruitment was opened on <br />October 27, 2008, and candidates are being accepted and reviewed by Alliance Resource Consulting, the <br />executive search firm selected by the council for this recruitment. The application deadline for this <br />recruitment was December 8, 2008. <br /> <br /> <br />RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />This item is not directly related to a City policy.
