J~('(O z" <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR WITHDRAWAL FRAM <br />THE GLENWOOD WATER DISTRICT AND <br />WILLAMALANE PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT <br />THAT PART OF THE DISTRICTS ANNEXED TO THE <br />CITY OF EUGENE BY THE LANE COUNTY LOCAL <br />GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION ON <br />DECEMBER 7, 1989 ~VIK~ EC EU 89-31y. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution <br />No. 4160 adopted January 2Z, 1990, proposed withdrawal from <br />the Glenwood Water District and the Willamalane Park and <br />Recreation District that part of the Districts annexed to the <br />City on December 7, 1959 by Final order No. 9~0 of the Lane <br />County Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter <br />described. <br />The Resolution set February 12, 1990, at 7:30 p.m., <br />Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, <br />Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the <br />withdrawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of <br />the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive <br />weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places <br />in the City for the same period. <br />The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard <br />and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, <br />oregon. <br />The City is willing to assume the liabilities and <br />indebtednesses previously contracted by the Districts <br />proportionate to the part of the Districts that have been <br />annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawal. <br />ordinance - 1 <br />
