REGULAR SESSION: <br /> Police Auditor Recruitment Process <br /> <br />Mayor Piercy convened the meeting at 6:41 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Piercy stated that the primary finalist for the position of independent Police Auditor was unable to <br />accept it. She said the council had decided to reopen the search to include a broader pool of applicants. She <br />underscored the council’s appreciation for the services of the interim auditor and that the council planned to <br />continue to rely on the auditor’s services while the council finished the recruitment process. <br /> <br />Councilor Zelenka, seconded by Councilor Clark, moved to reopen the recruitment process <br />and change the minimum qualifications to indicate that a Juris Doctorate degree would be <br />preferred but would not be required.
