RESOLUTION NO �ai I <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE <br />INDUSTRIAL CORRIDOR COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION <br />CHARTER FOR LIMITER RECOGNITION. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. On January 22, 1990 the Council, by Resolution no. 4161, adopted a Limited <br />Neighborhood Recognition Policy for Organizations in Areas Contiguous to the 'ts of <br />the City of Eugene. <br />B. The Industrial Corridor Community organization represents an area that is <br />contiguous to, but outside the limits of the City of Eugene, and is therefore eligible to <br />apply for meted recognition under the City' adopted policy. <br />C. The Industrial Corridor Community Organization has submitted a proposed <br />P P <br />Charter which was approved by the membership at a general meeting on October 31 <br />1991, and has complied with the criteria set forth in the City's Neighborhood Organization <br />Recognition Policy as contained in Resolution No. 2554 adopted by the City Council on <br />August 23, 1976 and the City' Limited Neighborhood Recognition Policy as contained in <br />Resolution No. 4161 adopted on January 22, 1990. <br />D. The Model Charter approved by Council Resolution No. 3745 on January 26, <br />1983 was utilized by the Industrial Corridor Community Organization in developing its <br />proposed Charter. <br />P g <br />NOW ■ , EREFO RE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY - COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a <br />Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: <br />Section 1 . The Charter for the Industrial Corridor Community Organization, a copy <br />PY <br />of which is attached as Exhibit "X hereto, so marked, and incorporated herein b <br />� y <br />i <br />reference, s hereby approved and accepted, and limited recognition in accordance with the <br />policy set forth in Resolution No. 4161 of the Industrial Corridor Community Organization <br />.. ty g <br />as the official voice of the neighborhood area designated therein is hereb y confirmed. <br />Section 2. The recognition confirmed herein shall remain in effect until January 22, <br />1995, unless prior thereto the City's Limited Neighborhood Recognition Policy is extended, <br />or the area designated in the Industrial Corridor Community Organization's Charter <br />Resolution - 1 <br />
