ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 21-11-03 <br />of the City Manager <br />DELEGATING TO THE CITY ATTORNEY THE AUTHORITY TO <br />ENTER INTO SETTLEMENT OF LAWSUITS. <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Under the provisions of Chapter IV, Section 16 of the Eugene Charter of 2002, <br />the City Manager is designated as the administrative head of the City, and is specifically <br />authorized to appoint and remove all - employees (except as otherwise provided in the Charter), <br />and to enforce all ordinances of the City. <br />. R. I find it would be more efficient and in the public interest to delegate to City <br />Attorney Glenn Klein the authority to settle lawsuits in the amount of $100,000 or less. <br />NOW, THERFORE, <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene Orders and Directs that: <br />City Attorney Glenn Klein is authorized to enter into settlement agreements in an amount <br />not to exceed $100,000. <br />Dated and effective this ay of September, 2011, <br />Jon R.
