ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 56-04-02-F <br /> of the <br /> City Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> <br /> AMENDMENT OF ALARM SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R-4.934; <br /> RENUMBE~NG THAT RULE TO R-3.110; AND REPEAL OF <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 56-96-01-F. <br /> <br /> The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> <br /> A. Section 2.019 of the Eugene Code, 1971 authorizes the City Manager to adopt rules <br />for administration and implementation of any provision of that Code. <br /> <br /> B. Pursuant to that authority, Alarm Systems Administrative Rule 4.934 was adopted <br />by Administrative Order No. 56-96-01-F on October 7, 1996. Due to recent changes to the Eugene <br />Code, 1971, changes to the Alarm Systems Administrative Rule are necessm-y. <br /> <br /> C. On August 17. 2004, the City Manager issued Admimstrative Order No. 56-04-02 <br />proposing that Administrative Order No. 56-96-01-F be repealed, and that Rule R-4.934 be <br />renumbered to R-3.110 and amended in order to ensure the proper administration of the City's newly <br />adopted provisions regulating alarm systems. <br /> <br /> D. Notice of the proposed amendment was published in the Register-Guard, a newspaper <br />of general circulation within the City, for five consecutive days, on: September 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 2004, <br />and made available to any person who had requested such notice. <br /> <br /> E. The Notice provided that written comments would be received for a period of 15 days <br />from the date of the first publication. No comments were received within the time or in the manner <br />provided in the Notice. <br /> <br /> Based upon the above findings, which are hereby adopted, and pursuant to the authority <br />contained in Section 2.019, of the Eugene Code, 1971, Administrative Order No. 56-96-01-F is <br />repealed as of the effective date of this Order, and Alarm Systems Administrative Rule R-3.110 is <br />adopted to provide as follows: <br /> <br /> ALARM SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R-3.110 <br /> <br />R-3.110-A Definitions. <br /> <br /> Words and phrases used herein shall have the meanings ascribed to them in Section 3.005 of <br />the Eugene Code, 1971 (EC). <br /> <br />Administrative Order - I <br /> <br /> <br />
