MINUTES <br />Eugene City Council <br />Harris Hall, 125 East 8th Avenue <br />Eugene, Oregon 97401 <br />January 15, 2014 <br />12:00 p.m. <br />Councilors Present: George Brown, Betty Taylor, Alan Zelenka, George Poling, Mike Clark, Chris <br />Pryor, Claire Syrett, Greg Evans <br />A. WORK SESSION: Civic Stadium Business Plan Review <br />Mayor Piercy opened the discussion, noting that a broader conversation about this item <br />will be scheduled for the January 22, 2014 City Council work session. <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Taylor, seconded by Councilor Brown, moved to <br />listen to the people who came to speak to Council on this item. FAILED <br />6:2, Councilors Taylor and Brown in favor. <br />Motion on Initiating Metro Plan Amendment <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Poling, seconded by Councilor Clark, moved to <br />schedule a work session on or before Wednesday, February 12, 2014 to deliberate <br />on initiating a process to amend the Metro Plan diagram to designate 955 Coburg <br />Road as Low Density Residential. The deliberations shall be cancelled if the <br />property owner and the LUBA appellant agree to a settlement in the pending <br />LUBA appeal of the zone change for 955 Coburg Road before the scheduled work <br />session." PASSED 8:0. <br />B.
