MINUTES <br />Eugene City Council <br />Harris Hall, 125 East 8 Avenue <br />Eugene, Oregon 97401 <br />February 18, 2014 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />Councilors Present: George Brown, Betty Taylor, Alan Zelenka, Chris Pryor, Claire Syrett, Greg Evans <br />Councilors Absent: George Poling, Mike Clark <br />Mayor Piercy opened the February 18, 2014, City Council public hearing. <br />1. PUBLIC HEARING: An Ordinance Providing for Withdrawal of Annexed Properties from <br />the River Road Park & Recreation District, the River Road Water District, the Santa Clara <br />Fire District, the Santa Clara Water District, Lane Rural Fire Protection District, and the <br />Willakenzie Rural Fire Protection District <br />There was no testimony on this ordinance. <br />2. PUBLIC HEARING: Ordinance Extending Sunset Date of Rest Stop Pilot Program <br />1. Jennifer Frenzer - Knowlton, supported program extension and better communication. <br />2. Jean Stacey, favored the extension of the rest stops and requested better communication. <br />3. Stephanie Talbott, thanked the council for its work on homelessness; wants more cooperation. <br />4. Michael Adams, supported deadline extension and better communication on the process. <br />5. Wayne Martin, offered an invitation to an open house at Whoville. <br />6.
