BUDGET COMMITTEE RECRUITMENT - Current DESCRIPTION The Budget Committee reviews the proposed operating and capital budget each fiscal year and makes recommendations on the budget that are submitted to the City Council. The Budget Committee reviews supplemental budget items that amend the approved budget. MEMBERSHIP The Budget Committee is composed of all eight city councilors and eight lay citizens members. TERM Lay members serve a three year term; councilors serve as long as they are in office. APPOINTMENT The City Council appoints the lay citizen members.
