Send a written statement to the Planning Commission as follows: <br /> Eugene Planning Commission <br /> c/o Patricia Thomas <br /> 99 West 10th Avenue <br /> Eugene, Oregon 97401 <br /> <br /> E-mail to: patricia.thomas~ci.eugene.or.us <br /> <br /> In order to be included in the Planning Commission's agenda packet distributed <br /> prior to the public hearing, your statement must be received by the Planning <br /> Division by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2004. <br /> <br /> 2. Submit a written statement after September 3, 2004 through 5:00 p.m. on <br /> September 14, 2004, or at the public hearing. The Planning Commission will <br /> have less of an opportunity to read the written material prior to taking action. <br /> <br /> 3. Attend the public hearing and state your concerns. Your spoken testimony will <br /> be recorded in the minutes of the hearing. The Planning Commission may limit <br /> the time for each speaker to a few minutes. You are encouraged to submit <br /> written testimony if you have detailed comments you wish to make. <br /> <br /> Testimony and evidence of those testifying should be directed toward the applicable <br /> criteria described above, or other criteria in the plan or land use regulation that the <br /> person testifying believes to apply to the decision. The Eugene Planning Commission will <br /> forward their recommendations to the Eugene City Council for final action. <br /> <br /> An issue which may be the basis for an appeal to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals shall <br /> be raised by the person testifying not later than the close of the record at or following the final <br /> evidentiary hearing on the proposal by the local government.
