<br />The projected 2025 average TSS is determined as follows: <br /> <br />Projected 2025 TSS = (0.205 * 297,585 * 1.4) + 2,224 = 87,600 mgd (actual calculated value of <br />87,6311bsj day) rounded to the nearest hundred pounds) <br /> <br />Where: <br /> <br />0.205 is the selected pounds per capita per day (ppcd) based on dry season <br />values from 1990 to 2002 <br /> <br />297,585 is the projected population to be served in 2025 <br /> <br />1.4 is the selected peaking to convert average dry season load to DSMM load <br />(based on 1990 to 2002 data) <br /> <br />2,224 is the projected industrial TSS load in lbsj day (it has been assumed that the <br />industrial load will remain constant over the study period) <br /> <br />The required capacity to meet the needs of growth in terms of TSS is 22,900 lbsj day <br />(87,600 - 64,700). <br /> <br />Biosolids Treatment <br /> <br />The three subcategories used to allocate biosolids treatment, handling, and disposalj reuse <br />costs for purposes of SDC calculations are: <br /> <br />. General <br />.
