310 General and Road Capital Projects Fund <br /> <br />d) This action transfers $60,000 to the Systems Development Capital Projects Fund for the purchase of <br />land for housing projects and reduces capital appropriation by $60,000. <br /> <br />e) This request recognizes externally funded projects in Public Works. It recognizes $1,358,728 in <br />revenues due from intergovernmental partners for previously budgeted capital projects. Since these <br />projects are already budgeted, Balance Available is increased by the same amount. <br /> <br />f) This request pays arbitrage of $85,590 to the IRS for interest earnings on the Park Bonds and increases <br />the capital budget for community park development by $539,750 using accrued interest earnings from <br />Balance Available ($300,340) and Reserve ($325,000). <br /> <br />g) This supplemental budget eliminates the Reserve for Encumbrance and distributes $12,116 to Central <br />Services for payment of obligations incurred but not paid in FY04 and places the residual amount ($15,000) <br />in Balance Available. <br /> <br />h) This action moves $10,000 from the Capital budget to the operating budget in Central Services for the <br />maintenance of public art. <br /> <br />i) This action recognizes $500,000 received from the Urban Renewal Agency and increases the Capital <br />budget by the same amount to support the initial design phase of the Patterson Street Underpass. <br />McKenzie Willamette Medical Center is expected to loan the Urban Renewal Agency $500,000 for this initial <br />design work. <br /> <br />j) This request reappropriates $215,191 from Balance Available to Capital for library projects. <br /> <br />k) This request recognizes $348,703 in federal grant revenue for Fire Stations Exhaust System <br />improvements. The city's 30% match ($149,443) is taken from Balance Available. The capital project <br />budget is increased by $498,146. <br /> <br />I) The request recognizes $63,911 in tree planting fees and uses the fees and another $154,531 from <br />Balance Available to increase the Capital budget for street tree plantings by $218,442. Another transaction <br />recognizes $80,000 in support from Lane County and appropriates it to the Capital budget for courthouse <br />transportation improvements. This brings the appropriation to the full $1.6 million approved by Lane County. <br /> <br /> <br />
