Eugene Code. <br /> <br /> '} (a) All transmission towers and antennas shall be removed by the person <br /> who constructed the facility, by .the person who operates the facility, or <br /> by the propertY owner,, within 6 months of the time that the facilities have <br /> ceased being used to transmit, receive or relay voice and data signals to <br /> or from wireless communication devices. The city manager may grant a <br /> 6-month extension where a written request has been filed, within the <br /> initial 6-month pedod, to reuse the tower' or antennas. <br /> (b) If a transmission tower is located within an R-l, PL, C-1 or GO zone, the <br /> provisions of subparagraph (a) also shall apply to thetower substructure <br /> and all ab.o~.e ground ancillary facilities. <br /> (c) The City a~y~equire the posting of an open ended bond before · <br /> devel0p'.ment permit issuance to insure removal of the transmission <br /> tower, substructure or antennas after the facility no longer is being used. <br /> (Il) Fees. The provisions of this section establish standards for temporary <br />~"'" '·! · activities and uses that can be terminated and removed immediatelY. <br /> Temporary uses have no inherent rights within the base zone in which they <br /> are located. <br /> .(2) Applicability. Prior to initiation of any temporary use, the operator shall <br /> ensure that the standards in this section are met. <br /> (3) Description. Temporary activities are short term or seasonal activities and do <br /> not require, permanent site improvements. Temporary activities inClude <br /> temporary uses that: <br /> (a) Are allowed by the zone but do not meet the normal development <br /> standards. Examples include, but are not limited to, Christmas tree <br /> sales or parking lot sales in a commercial zone; <br /> (b) if permanent, would not be allowed by the base zone. An example is a <br /> church carnival in a residential Zone. Temporary activities include, but <br /> are not limited to: <br /> a. Construction yard, staging area. <br /> b. Construction trailer. <br /> c. Leasing office. <br /> d. Garage sale. <br /> e.* Camival and fair. <br /> f. Parking lot sale. <br /> g. Seasonal sale such as Christmas tree sale. <br /> h. Firework sale. <br /> i.
