RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />The Parks, Recreation and Open Space Comprehensive Plan is an update of the Eugene Parks and <br />Recreation Plan which was adopted by the council in 1989. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br />This presentation is for informational purposes only. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATION <br />The council is asked to review the draft plan and ask questions about the planning process, specific <br />recommendations, and next steps. Proposed next steps include a final public review forum within each <br />of the planning areas during January and February. Staff also would like to receive City Council <br />direction regarding the development of a project list in anticipation of a Parks, Recreation and Open <br />Space bond measure for the November 2006 election period. <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION <br />No motion is suggested. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />A.
