As the Applicant notes, the application of the S-HK Special Area Zone to the proposed <br />site is consistent with the siting standards proposed to be adopted for the Special Area Zone. <br /> <br />Code Amendment <br /> <br />The only code amendment proposed is to add a subsection to EC 9.8865(4). That subsection will <br />require that any future proposal to apply an uncodified S-H Historic Special Area Zone to a <br />property will be evaluated to ensure that the proposed zone change is consistent with the siting <br />requirements set out in the ordinance that adopted that special area zone. The application <br />anticipated that the S-HK Historic Kaufman House Special Area Zone would be codified and <br />therefore included substantial findings under EC 9.8065 that pertained to the adoption of the <br />zone. Though unnecessary, those findings are accurate and are specifically incorporated herein <br />by reference. <br /> <br /> 9. 8065 Code Amendment Approval Criteria.
