Land Use Request <br /> <br />Kathleen Hall and Peter Drongesen are the owners of the house located at 370 River Road, home <br />of Amelia's Antiques. The house dates to 1901 and is built in the Vernacular Gothic style, with <br />original doors, windows, floors, and fixtureS. Substantial research done by Ms. Hall, including <br />oral histories with descendants of the home's original owners, reveals a rich history associated <br />with the River Road/Danebo area's Danish immigrants. Ms. Hall seeks to preserve and <br />recognize the home's historic value by nominating it to the City of Eugene's Historic Landmark <br />Inventory. <br /> <br />The Applicant has named the property the Johansen-Moody House after the original owner, Neils <br />Johansen, and his step daughter, Laura Anderson Moody, who lived in it from its construction in <br />1901 until her death in 1976. This application is based on the historic architectural value of the <br /> <br /> 51 <br /> <br /> <br />
