ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-15-39 <br />of the <br />City of Eugene Airport Director <br />REPEALING THE LIMITATION ON THE NUMBER OF AIRPORT <br />TAXICAB OPERATOR PERMITS AND PROCEDURES FOR <br />ISSUANCE OF PERMITS ESTABLISHED BY ADMINISTRATIVE <br />ORDER NO. 58-01-20 AND REPEALING ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />NO. 58-01-20. <br />The Airport Director of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Section 8.3 of the Airport Rules authorizes the Airport Director to limit the number <br />of permits for a ground transportation activity based on the criteria contained in that section. <br />Pursuant to that authority, on November 15, 2001, Administrative Order No. 58-01-20 was <br />issued establishing limitations on the number of Airport taxicab operator permits that can be <br />issued and establishing procedures for issuance of those permits. <br />B. I have reviewed the demand for taxi services at the Airport and find that a <br />limitation on the number of Airport Taxi Operations is not necessary in order to provide quality <br />ground transportation services to airport patrons, and a limitation does not serve the public interest. <br />Therefore, Administrative Order No. 58-01-20 should be repealed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Airport Director of the City of Eugene Orders that, <br />based on the above findings, Administrative Order No. 58-01-20 is repealed as of the effective <br />date of this Order. <br />Dated and effective this � day of December, 2015. <br />/A�� �v <br />Tim M.
