monumentation, a formal survey shall be filed with the Lane County Surveyor and a copy <br />provided to the City Surveyor. <br />B. As -Constructs <br />Within 30 days after receiving the inspection notes from the City Inspector, the Project <br />Engineer shall submit both a reproducible copy and an electronic version of the <br />completed as -construct drawings for the project. Changes noted during construction and <br />field measurements indicated on the inspection notes shall be included. See Section 5 for <br />as -construct requirements. Failure to submit as -construct drawings shall suspend review <br />of other work submitted by the responsible firm for the project until as -construct work is <br />completed. <br />C. Project Completion Notice (Beginning of Warranty Period) <br />When all work shown on the approved plans has been completed and has met the final <br />inspection criteria outlined in the specifications, the City Engineer shall send a letter to <br />the Project Engineer, with a copy to the Contractor and Owner/Developer, confirming <br />completion of public improvements for City maintenance and commencement of the <br />warranty period. <br />D. Project Acceptance (Release Performance Financial Surety) <br />After the City's warranty inspection has been completed, required repairs have been <br />completed by the Contractor, centerline and right-of-way monumentation has been set <br />and accepted, as -construct plans have been submitted to the City and accepted, and all <br />charges have been paid, the City will issue a Final Acceptance Letter. Copies of the Final <br />Acceptance Letter will be distributed to the Contractor, the Project Engineer, the City <br />Finance Division, and the owner/Developer's bonding company. At this time, the City <br />Engineer may authorize release of the financial surety. Service connections will not be <br />permitted until the public system has been accepted by the City. <br />4.16 FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH CITY STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES <br />In, the event the Project Engineer fails to adhere to requirements and/or schedules listed <br />herein, the City Engineer may postpone review of other submitted work until the deficiencies <br />are corrected.
