Untreatedrunoff. Contaminated stormwaterrunofiduetoconstruction activities that <br />has not been filtered, screened, settled, or otherwise treated for the removal of pollutants; <br />prior to discharge into the City's stormwater system, designated buffers, or Related Natural <br />Resource Areas. <br />Water features. Permanent or intermittent bodies ofwater, including creeks, streams, <br />ponds, rivers, takes, Related Natural Resource Areas, drainage channels and jurisdictional <br />wetlands: <br />Vegetative buffer. A strip of protected land not less than 25 feet in width separating <br />ground disturbed by construction activity from a water feature, related natural. resource area, <br />or a property line, whichever is nearest, containing vegetation at least 1 inch in height that <br />covers at least 80% 'of the buffer area The buffer area must be on the site covered by the <br />`permit or be reserved for such use in -writing by the property owner. <br />Visible or measurable erosion. Evidence of concentrated flows of water over bare <br />soils, turbid or sediment laden flows, or evidence of on-site erosion such as rivulets on bare <br />soil slopes where the flow ofwater is not filtered or-captured on the site using the techniques <br />recommended in the City's ErosionPrevention and Construction Site Management Practices <br />Manual or an approved Construction Site Management Plan, or comparable techniques; and, <br />earth slides, mud flows, earth sloughing, or other earth movement which leaves the property. <br />Wetlands. Anyparcel or portion ofaparcelwhichmeets the state or federal definition <br />of wetlands that are under the jurisdiction of state or federal laws. Synonymous with <br />jurisdictional wetlands. <br />Wet weather season. October 15 through April 30, unless otherwise designated by <br />the City Engineer. <br />R-6.645-C Applicability: <br />1.
