Construction Site Management Plan (CSMP) Reauirements <br />At a minimum, the CSMP shall address the following factors. Please use the list below to assure that <br />you have addressed all of the required information on your plans. Two sets of plans are required at <br />permit submittal (one additional set is required if the site disturbance is greater than 5 acres in <br />size). <br />✓ Site location and vicinity map <br />✓ Site development drawing(s) containing the following (standard engineering or architect scale, such <br />as 1"=40'): <br />a) On-site elevations (existing and proposed contours) <br />b) Soil Type <br />c) Property boundaries <br />d) Existing site conditions (e.g. buildings, roads, water features, etc.) <br />e) Existing vegetation type, including both private and public trees <br />■ For trees includes: <br />• Species and diameter -at -breast -height (DBH) <br />• Delineate critical root zone (CRZ) and identify the percentage of impact to <br />each CRZ by the proposed construction. <br />f) Conservation and preservation areas, such as Goal 5 resource areas and any related <br />setbacks, wetlands, waterways, and other protected natural resources. <br />g) Existing and proposed stormwater system (e.g. catch basins, area drains, etc.) including <br />both mechanical and vegetative stormwater management facilities, if any. <br />h) Limits of disturbance for ground disturbing activities <br />i) Material and equipment staging areas <br />j) City of Eugene CSMP General Notes <br />k) Detail drawings of proposed Best Management Practices (BMP's) <br />✓ Identify BMP's that are to be implemented: <br />a) Stabilized vehicle access <br />■ Location(s) of all construction entrances/exits <br />■ Location of vehicle wheel wash (if applicable) <br />b) Measures which will be installed and maintained to physically protect areas where ground <br />disturbance is prohibited (e.g. wetlands, riparian areas, trees, waterways, etc.). <br />c) Erosion prevention and sediment control BMPs (e.g. temporary and permanent <br />stabilization, vegetative buffers, sediment fence, check dams, mulch berm, etc.). <br />d) Locations and methods of containment for the following: <br />■ Concrete washout area <br />■ Containment area to wash/dispose of paints, plasters, and other construction <br />related contaminates (if applicable). <br />■ Stockpiles <br />s Detailed tree information (e.g. tree species, diameter -at -breast -height, impact to critical root zone, etc.) and <br />special flood hazard information is only required to be shown on the CSMP when submitting for Privately <br />Engineered Public Improvement Projects. <br />Page 2 of 2 February 2012 <br />
