PROJECT INITIAION: Submit Engineering & <br />Construction Agreement <br />Submit Application for Public Improvement Permit <br />& one hard- and electronic copy of plans/analyses <br />Corrects/resubmits application materials; submits <br />utility company concurrences; obtains other <br />required permits; mails first public notice; pays <br />engineering charges <br />PERMIT: Submits 5 hardcopies & electronic copy of <br />approved plans; submits one hardcopy/electronic <br />copy of construction schedule, traffic control plan, <br />manufacturer's data on all materials used, & <br />financial surety (bond); mails second public notice <br />CONSTRUCTION: Does construction surveying; stakes <br />ADA ramps; acts as project manager; secures City <br />approval of design changes <br />POST CONSTRUCTION: Sets/replaces street <br />monumentation; submits TV inspection & testing <br />Provides design consultation <br />Reviews plans/analysis; returns application <br />materials for corrections; bills owner monthly <br />for review costs <br />Secures right-of-way permits from <br />State/County & internal permits (Erosion <br />Prevention/Floodplain Development); obtains <br />staff concurrences; approves plans <br />Reviews/approves submittals & financial surety; <br />issues public improvement permit, authorizing <br />construction; schedules pre -construction <br />meeting <br />CONSTRUCTION: Inspections; approves design <br />changes; provides inspector's notes to <br />engineer <br />WARRANTY: Field checks & inspects; issues <br />acceptance letter (starts warranty period); <br />issues final bill for engineering charges <br />
