<br />ATTACHMENT A <br />ORDINANCE NO. _________ <br /> <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS; <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 7.010, 7.085, 7.095, 7.100, 7.130, 7.140 7.145, <br />7.175, 7.190, 7.205, 7.210, 7.220, 7.290, 7.297, 7.302, 7.305, 7.307, <br />7.360, 7.370, 7.385, 7.405, 7.407, 7.410, 7.415, 7.425, 7.445, 7.720, <br />7.725, AND 7.735 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; ADDING SECTIONS <br />7.090, 7.143, 7.350 AND 7.365 TO THAT CODE; REPEALING SECTION <br />7.400 OF THAT CODE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> <br /> THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. <br /> Section 7.010 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended to provide: <br />7.010Definitions <br /> . For purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases <br />shall have the meanings ascribed to them by this section: <br /> <br />Access ramps. The sloped area and landing immediately adjacent to <br />the public way that allows access to the public way by individuals with <br />disabilities under the American with Disabilities Act (“ADA”). <br /> <br />Bancroft Bonding Act <br />. ORS 223.205 and 223.210 to 223.295 or any <br />succeeding statutory provisions or amendments thereto. <br /> <br />[Block length <br />. The distance along a street between the centerline of two <br />intersecting through streets, including "T" intersections but excluding cul-de- <br />sacs.] <br /> <br />[Building drain <br />. That part of the lowest horizontal piping of a drainage <br />system which receives the discharge from soil waste, and other drainage <br />pipes inside the walls of the building and conveys it to the building sewer, <br />beginning five feet outside the interface of the building wall.] <br /> <br />Building official <br />. The person designated by the city manager [with the <br />responsibility for administration and enforcement of the state building codes] <br />to carry out the duties of the city’s building official under this code, or <br />the building official’s designee. <br /> <br />[Building sewer <br />. The extension from the building drain to the public sewer <br />or other places of disposal.] <br /> <br />Capital improvement(s) <br />. Public facilities or assets used for any of the <br />following: <br />(a) Water supply, treatment and distribution; <br />Ordinance - <br />1 <br /> <br />
