<br />TRAFFIC IMPACT ANALYSIS: Santa Clara School Site Redevelopment <br /> <br />PAGE 12 OF 36 <br /> <br />The ODOT and city of Eugene crash data are included as Appendix C. <br /> <br />Non~Motorized Facilities <br />As indicated previously, River Road is fully improved with bicycle lanes and sidewalks fronting th~ site. <br />Green and Hunsaker Lanes have not been improved w'ith these facilities. <br /> <br />Existing Traffic Volumes <br />Existing Average Daily Traffic (ADI) volumes \vere obtained iI'om the most recent City ofEugelle <br />Trame Flow Map. Traffic counts are based on typical weekday 24 hour counts. The ADT on the <br />relevant roadways in the project vicinity are as fo11O\vs: <br /> <br />Roadwa\( <br />River Road <br />Hunsaker Lane <br />Green Lane <br /> <br />ADT <br />20,600 <br />6,800 <br />830 <br /> <br />The ADT on Green Lane was estimated to be ten times observed PM peak hour volumes, as there '.vas <br />no available pub 11 shed data, The ADT is presented for infcH111ation purposes only. <br /> <br />Existing PI'll peak hour trafEc volumes '.vere detennined by'manual traffi.c counts conducted by Branch <br />Engineerjpg staff in January arid February of 2007 (see Appendix D). The counts \-vere taken bet\veen <br />4:00 and 6:00 PM on typical weekdays. Results of the counts indicate that the evening peak hour <br />occurred fro111 5:00 to 6:00 PM. The PM peak hour is commonly evaluated as the design hourhy <br />transportation professionals, and was the only peak hour identified in the Agency Scope.
