<br />2.1000 <br /> <br />Elections - Conduct of Elections. Elections shall be conducted in the <br />manner provided by state law. Any ballot and any elector casting a ballot <br />may be challenged in the manner provided by state law. <br /> <br />Section 16. Subsection (1) of Section 2.1990 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is <br /> <br />amended to provide: <br /> <br />2.1990 Penalties - Specific. <br />(1) Violation of section 2.989 is punishable by a fine not to exceed $500, or <br />confinement in jail not to exceed 100 days, or both fine and <br />imprisonment; in addition, the city attorney, upon request of the city <br />manager, shall institute any necessary civil proceedings to enforce the <br />provisions of section 2.989 of this Code. <br /> <br />Section 17.
