ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION <br />of the <br />Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br />A. Section 5.040(1)(d) of the Eugene Code, 1971 (EC), authorizes the City Manager <br />or the Manager's designee to, by administrative action, designate parking meter zones. <br />D. Administrative Order No. 58-09-14 delegates the City Manager's duties under EC <br />5.040 to the Traffic Engineer of the Public Works Department. <br />C. Pursuant to the above authority, on October 15, 2015, I issued an Administrative <br />Action, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, designating the following streets, or <br />identified segments thereof, as a parking meter zone: <br />Monroe Street between 7th and the intersection with Blair Boulevard, east and west <br />sides. <br />Blair Boulevard between 7th and the intersection with Monroe Street, east and west <br />sides. <br />D. Due to public opposition of this parking meter zone, the Administrative Action <br />designating it as a parking meter zone should be repealed. <br />On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br />The Administrative Action designating the area described in Finding C above as a parking <br />meter zone is repealed. <br />Dated and effective this -=-- day of April, 2016. <br />Matthew J.
