type of information the Lane Metro Partnership develops and provides to local and <br />outside companies. <br /> <br />Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce <br /> <br />The West Eugene Enterprise Zone will also be marketed by the Eugene Area Chamber of <br />Commerce. The Chamber plays an active role in providing business information and <br />business assistance through its Business Assistance Director and Business Resource <br />Directory. The Chamber also conducts an annual business CONTACT program which is <br />an outreach program intended to identify company needs, particularly companies that are <br />poised for expansion and need assistance. <br /> <br />Local Media <br /> <br />The Eugene Register-Guard newspaper has a daily Business section which actively <br />covers local economic development projects and issues. The Zone Manager will work <br />with Zone participants and the media to provide coverage of companies that benefit from <br />the Enterprise Zone program. <br /> <br /> <br />
