<br />Scoring Sheet <br /> <br />Each of the following are minimum requirements: <br />a) Multi-family housing of five units or more <br />b) Located inside the adopted boundary <br />c) Documentation that the proposal could not financially be built “but for” the tax exemption <br />d) Documentation of efforts to solicit comments from the neighborhood association or provision of <br />said comments <br />e) Satisfaction of requirements related to proximity of historic resources <br /> <br />Public benefit options <br />In addition to providing housing in the core area, the MUPTE program must provide additional public <br />benefit. The following are scored criteria to evaluate public benefit. A MUPTE is granted with the <br />achievement of 100 points. <br /> <br />ITEM MAXIMUM POINTS RUNNING <br />POINTS AWARDED TOTAL <br /> <br />Density <br />10 points for every unit over the minimum required 50 <br />density <br />Development is a designated “Opportunity Site” 100 <br /> <br /> <br />Green Building Features <br />LEED Certification 100 <br />Utilization of green practices – plan to address 50 <br />energy reductions plus 2 or more other areas (site <br />planning, water efficiency, energy & atmosphere, <br />materials & resources, indoor environmental quality) <br /> <br /> <br />Mixed Income <br />10 points for each housing unit dedicated to 10 per unit <br />controlled income and rent at 60% of median income <br /> <br /> <br />Home ownership <br />Over 50% of units dedicated to home ownership 100 <br /> <br /> <br />Accessibility <br />10 points for each ADA-accessible unit (in addition 100 <br />to the adaptable code requirements) <br /> <br /> <br />Historic Sensitivity <br />(for projects identified as or adjacent <br /> <br />to an historic structure) <br />Provision of mitigation plan created w/ assistance of 10 w/ plan <br />an architect <br /> <br /> <br />
